Commissioning Projects
Working alongside a range of delivery partners, Lincolnshire Enterprise develops a Business Plan and commissions projects that raise the game for the whole of the county. Our aim is to make sure our businesses are innovative, ambitious and competing on quality, not price, with workers who are skilled, imaginative, productive and more highly paid. Projects that we support contribute to achieving the overall vision identified in the East Midlands Regional Economic Strategy – that the East Midlands becomes a flourishing region by 2020.
Which Projects are Eligible for Funding?
Apart from commissioning projects, from time to time Lincolnshire Enterprise launches specific funding programmes that address economic or social funding priorities identified in its Business Plan. Sign up for funding alerts here
All project applications, whether commissioned or funded through funding programmes, are subject to a rigorous assessment process. They should fit the Regional Economic Strategy and the Lincolnshire Economic Strategy as well as the Investment Plan for Lincolnshire. Where they relate to specific market towns or areas, they should also fit within the relevant masterplan for that town or area.
Other Sources of Funding
The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) aims to strengthen economic and social cohesion in the European Union by supporting regional economic development. The areas covered by the local authority districts of the City of Lincoln, East Lindsey and Boston Borough Council can also apply for Priority 2 Funding from this source. All ERDF projects require match funding, and for some projects, Single Programme funding may be available to meet this requirement. Please contact one of our Programme Managers to discuss your project before submitting an ERDF application.
