The grants given to small businesses in Lincolnshire have upgraded existing workspaces to create efficient working environments.
Workspace Refurbishment Grant
The Workspace Refurbishment Grant can fund up to 50% of costs, with grants of between £500 and £5,000, for the refurbishment/conversion of premises for SME businesses in Lincolnshire. The fund supports recently established businesses that have been trading for less than 36 months and employ less than 50 staff.
A business adviser will support each applicant through the grant process, allowing businesses to take full advantage of the enhanced workspace and aims to increase prospects for survival and growth.
Project aims:
- 60 jobs safeguarded or created
- 60 business assisted to improve their performance
- £450K private sector funding levered
- 1500sq m new or refurbished floor space
"Some existing or potential business premises are in desperate need of refurbishment. By providing a small capital fund to support this kind of work, the SMEs can concentrate on establishing their business which will ultimately lead to future growth and increased survival rates."
